Bellaire Park Project Under Way

Rec & Park has removed all the damaged equipment and will soon begin the installation of the new equipment. The project should be completed by the end of spring.

LAPD Captain Ramirez Crime Update

Captain Rafael Ramirez, the Commanding Officer of the North Hollywood Area, provided an update which noted a 9.8% drop in Part-I crime, but an increase in homicide, aggravated assaults and motor vehicle theft.

City Controller Audit of HHH

City Controller Ron Galperin recently discussed his audit of HHH which was voted on in 2016 to fund supportive housing. A total of $362 million of the 1.2 billion has been issued and less than half of it has been spent. He calls for an increased sense of urgency, reevaluation of the most expensive proposals and consideration of other options.
